Brown’s first full-length solo album, Slow Boat, is a collection of songs that draw from musical influences in the realms of folk, country and sad-bastard Americana (think Greg Brown meets Fred Neil meets Moe Bandy). Recorded in Madison in 2011 with some of Brown’s favorite friends and musicians, Slow Boat is being widely released in Summer 2012.
